Porto Franco Art Parlor is honored to present the series “Yuri Norstein Live in San Francisco.” A legendary director and animator, whose films Hedgehog in the Fog (1975) and Tale of Tales (1979) were voted the best animation films of all time by international juries in Los Angeles, Tokyo and Zagreb, Yuri Norstein will present an exhibition of drawings and sketches by Franchesca Yarbusova, his wife and life-long collaborator, who created the artwork for his animation masterpieces.
February 6, Saturday, 6-9pm – opening and artist reception with Yuri Norstein. $7, all ages
February 7, Sunday, 3-7pm – artist reception with Yuri Norstein. $7, all ages
February 13 and 14, 3-7pm, the closing days of the exhibition, no artists present – free admission
