Market Street Gallery presents an exhibition of paintings by San Francisco artist Kristina Quinones. Her painted works in oils and acrylics feature soft, fluid fields of saturated color on panels.
These are the results of her exploration of the area between the calculated control an artist exerts in the making of a creative work and the uncertain ambiguity inherent in her use of a free-flowing fluid material.
Her evocative results are both mysterious and technically complex.
